Living in Calapan is expensive. The prices of food here are much higher compared to the Greater Manila Area (even fruits and vegetables are expensive despite having numerous farms within the city and nearby towns). This is a coastal area, yet only few kinds of seafood are sold at the market. Water from the water district is the most costly I know of. Moreover, electricity here is unreliable. Get ready for frequent power interruptions and high rates. The beaches and other natural attractions are supposed to be good, but, sadly laden with trash.

If you study the anatomy of a person’s body, Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro is considered the heart. Though trying to keep up and being modernized, the city is still very peaceful, ideal place to retire and people interact with each other naturally and friendly.

For those moving to my city, it is a good place. Calapan City is rich in diversity and economic stature, for we are one of the largest regions that provide rice and calamansi. With means of living, Calapan City is an Urban City rich in opportunities for applicants and for those who seek to build their businesses.

Calapan City has wonderful beaches that tourists can go to. There are some malls to get what they needed and people here are so accommodating and freely that will welcome them wholeheartedly. There are mountains too where they can do hiking. Lots of fruits and crops can also be found here.

I will recommend Calapan City as a nice and promising city. It has very beautiful beaches and warm people whose hospitality trait is indispensable. It offers opportunities in real estate, tourist facilities, agri-business, manufacturing, trading, and services such as schools, hospitals, and technology related ventures. Aside from that it is a place where Calapenos have strong discipline especially on abiding existing laws and policies that is why criminality rate is low.

Calapan City is in Region 4-B MIMAROPA in the country of Philippines. People here are disciplined and polite. And when we talk about the place, it is clean because everyday there are people paid just to sweep in streets. Resorts, malls and other good places an also be found here that won’t make you bored.

In moving here, one should consider that although it is a city in a province, traffic is still no joke. You will have to spare more than five minutes so you won’t be late for your appointments. Another thing to consider is that not everything you need can be found in nearby stores. My city’s in a province. You’ll have to cross a sea to get to the capital region where everything can be found.
