If you’re going to move around Cavite, Trece Martires City is the perfect spot to know more about the rich culture and history of the province. Trece Martires which means Thirteen Martyr are the proof of independence that every Filipino now contains, aside from that the welcoming environment will only need an open mind for an individual to accept certain cultural differences.
Our city is known for its rich history being one of those provinces who fought for the nation’s independence. Citizens are obedient and law abiding people. Farming and fishing are the major source of income. Some of the well – known tourist spots can be found here e.g., Mt. Pico de Loro and beautiful beaches.
I would recommend to someone who is about to move to our city the statue of the 13 martyrs to which our city and each of the thirteen barangays were named after. I would also recommend to check out the statue of Emilio Aguinaldo near the provincial hall. A lot could be learned from these monuments about the history of the city.
