Meknes is one of the historical small cities of Morocco. As beautiful as it is, moving to Meknes would be a great choice for somebody who likes intimacy and a cheap life cost. But in the other hand, job offers are limited due to the few investments done in my city. Therefore, considering the difficulty of finding a job is very important before moving to Meknes.

The thing that anyone contemplating moving to my city should know is that it offers a rich experience with an extremely low cost in the long term. It can turn boring very quickly but it’s very easy to make friends since there are people of all ages in it. My city is known for the hot weather even in winter, and the rich history that made it what it is today.

Although Meknes was once one of Morocco’s three historical Imperial cities, it is smaller than the other two. Nestled in the luscious green farm-land of inner Morocco, Meknes does not attract the tourism of its illustrious neighbor Fes, however it is a pleasant city all the same. Expats looking to move to Meknes should know the expatriate community is very small, and access to certain western products can be limited.
