Madison is the state capitol of Wisconsin, snug between two lakes, making the city an isthmus. The city is also home to a Big Ten school, the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Downtown can get quite lively when the students are on campus. Madison is an overall swell place.

HELPFUL REPORT

The place in which I live is a college town, meaning that the majority of businesses and services cater to a young and educated base. The most popular area to which people go is State Street, which features numerous chic restaurants and stores. I live near this beloved street, where there is always something going on, including live music, college activities or opportunities to eat delicious and often foreign food. Madison, Wisconsin, is famous for its renowned university and hip, inclusive atmosphere.

If moving to Madison, WI, the first thing know is that winters can be pretty brutal. If the climate doesn’t scare you, then ask yourself if you enjoy any of the following activities: spending the day at a lake, college sports, eating cheese and drinking beer. If you said “yes” to any of the previous activities, then you might be a great addition to the lovely city of Madison.

Madison is a city that is fast-growing and lively; the streets are filled with college students, young professionals, artists, and everyone between. To prepare to live in Madison, one should be prepared for harsh winters and beautiful summers, humidity and ice storms, and the most beautiful lakes in the Midwest. Surprising to most, Madison is a hot-spot for the tech industry and attracts many computer sciences and data-based professionals to its neighborhoods.
