During my work as a so-called “buddy” for international students, the most frequently appearing remarks on what they weren’t aware of were twofold: on the one hand, students were quite obviously saddened by the sight of spending long time in a rainy city, and, on the other hand, they were surprised to learn that most Danes are introverted and rarely socialises beyond their familiar group of friends.
