From schools for early education to nearby colleges and universities, here's what two local experts had to say about education in Copenhagen.

1. It’s a safe, low on crime, friendly city
2. Prepare for a relative high cost of housing
3. Schools and hospital are high standard and free if you have a working permit
4. English spoken by all, but learn a few Danish expressions as “ice breakers”
5. Easy access to the rest of Europe and Scandinavia

HELPFUL REPORT

During my work as a so-called “buddy” for international students, the most frequently appearing remarks on what they weren’t aware of were twofold: on the one hand, students were quite obviously saddened by the sight of spending long time in a rainy city, and, on the other hand, they were surprised to learn that most Danes are introverted and rarely socialises beyond their familiar group of friends.
