Alpharetta is 20 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia but also very close to the North Georgia Mountains, so there is a great variety of activities and entertainment to choose from. The area also, has some of the highest rated primary and secondary schools in Georgia. The weather is very comfortable with mild winters and beautiful leaf changing falls.

HELPFUL REPORT

My city is a suburb. It is a relatively smaller city, with an average population of 50,000. It has some of the highest ranked schools in the state, and is a very nice place, for families with little children. There are plenty of parks and recreation centers, to keep kids active and busy.

Alpharetta, Georgia, is a growing suburb located approximately 20 minutes outside of Atlanta. Considered a part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, Alpharetta is home to a culturally diverse community to which many families have flocked. With a booming local food business, beautiful natural scenery, a thriving job market, and award-winning schools, the city is a place that locals and transplants alike are proud to call “home. “
