she or he should know the rental fees are high. She/He could get a roommate to share with the fees. Transportation is cheap. Most people live in the city can ride a motorbike and taxi cab. Taxi cab minimum fare in less than a dollar.

I would like to recommend someone to move to Phnom Penh as it is very nice, clean and safe. The people are very friendly and the cost of living is very reasonable. People here speak Khmer, but a lot of them are speaking English as their second language so it is easy to communicate with us.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, is a developing city. More than two million Cambodians reside here as it is also considered the business hub. When it comes to cost of living, Phnom Penh is relatively low compared to its neighboring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam. It has a rich culture and those who visit say that it is a laid-back city.
