If someone is going to move to my city they must consider their living expenses like how much is their budget and what kind of hotels or houses their looking for. They must know how to speak the dialect or at least can speak English. And lastly, they must check our city’s weather and safety.

Dubbed as the “City of gentle people,” Dumaguete is the perfect place for anyone looking to live with peace of mind. Our city was also acknowledged by a famous magazine as one of the best places to retire. Low cost of living and not too crowded city centers are a bonus.

Dumaguete City has been recognized as one of the best places to retire in the Philippines. Aside from its clean environment, the cost of living is low. The city is also known for its many restaurants featuring international cuisines. It also hosts several higher learning institutions, including the well-known Silliman University.

Our city is a “city of gentle people. The cost of living is not high. People here are more practical when it comes to spending. It is a small but have complete facilities and amenities for people to avail. One great example of this is Silliman University, an American-founded school.

Dumaguete City is an ideal place for both retirees and young adults. The cost of living is significantly lower than Cebu City and Bacolod City. There is not a lot of traffic, and there is a perfect balance of city life and being close to nature. After living in big cities, moving back to Dumaguete has been the best life choice. My favorite part of living here is that I can practice yoga for half the price of what I usually pay when I was still living in Cebu.

Dumaguete is one of the best local destinations in the Philippines. Most people choose to stay here because the commodities are a lot cheaper and are always fresh from the farm. Neighbors always wear a smile which create a friendly atmosphere for tourists. Its abundance of produce makes people live better than choosing to live in a crowded cities like Cebu.

Dumaguete City is a nice place. What sets it apart from other cities is the way each people care for one another, more especially to tourists who want to explore the beauty of the place. It is “The City of Gentle People”. If some tourist got lost, the tricycle drivers take care of them and drive them right to their destination without asking for an expensive fare. Kindness is the city’s trademark.

The city is filled with good, pleasing individuals that can help you when you are feeling down, it is a small town with less opportunities and less income per job, and it is also have many good food industries to cater people craving needs and through the years have been in good shape to fight all forms of calamity and survive through it all.
