Tagum City is very environmentally friendly. We have palm trees around the city that allows residents to walk around without having a direct contact to the sun. In terms of transportation, having to commute is not an issue because of the large number of tricycles that will send you to any destination outside and within the city.

For someone to consider living in a humid and overpopulated city, I’d say he/she should have an experience basking in the sun at 12 in the afternoon where heat is at its peak while wearing little to no clothes. If he/she grasps the idea of that, then all is good.

With its accessibility, fair weather, plain topography and stable economy, anyone can actually pamper and enjoy Tagum City’s comfortable and serene lifestyle where people and nature coexist harmoniously. In fact, Tagum City has been crowned as the country’s “Palm City Capital.” One can easily notice the beautifully grown palm trees that were part of the local government’s sustainable pro-environmental project. Tagumeños are known to have an eclectic love and passion for music and have the most-awaited event yearly that is celebrated every February, locally known as “Musikahan sa Tagum Festival.”
