A nice place to live if you are financially well-off. Being an island, everything is about 25% more expensive than the mainland. Ferry travel gets more expensive every year, and with the crush of summer tourists, is difficult and time consuming with a car. That said, we have a mild climate and low crime rate, clean air, and lots of wildlife.
