Reisterstown Sportsplex has a large indoor facility that holds an ice-skating rink and soccer field. Outdoors, there are baseball and football fields that the local teams play on, as well as playgrounds and places to grill food. It’s a community spot. Reisterstown has local restaurants that aren’t anywhere else. Whether you enjoy Italian, Salvadoran, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, or some Maryland crabs, there is a place. Within walking distance sits a family owned Latinx restaurants called El Paraiso. Everyone there is always warm and welcoming. People also like to gather at Reter’s Crabs for some classic Maryland crabs or crab cakes while catching up with friends and/or watching sports.

Due to Reisterstown’s location, there are also outdoor activities that aren’t far away. The Irvine Nature Center has various nature trails, classrooms, a museum, and a huge green exhibit hall. Families send their children to the summer camp, local schools visit for field trips, and couples even get married here.
