Grovetown is on the outskirts of Augusta, Georgia. Augusta is known for one thing: the annual Masters Tournament, one of the largest golf tournaments in the world. Locals scramble to get out of town before the infusion of rich tourists choke the roads; those close to the venue, however, have a golden opportunity to cash in by renting out their homes for up to $10,000 for the length of the tournament.
Although the city of Grovetown does not lure in numerous visitors, it has a multitude of beautiful scenes and loving neighbors. Time in Grovetown can be spent in libraries, coffee shops, and parks. With a population of over 14,000 people, Grovetown has a variety of ethnic groups and religions. The differences between neighbors, however, does not seem to cause controversy, but to be an outlet for conversation.
