Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a great place, but the decision to move should be thoroughly considered. If you are not a Thai speaker, Chiang Mai can provide an introduction to learning the language. Since many tourists pass through this city, a lot of the locals can speak some English. There are also many language schools to choose from. Beyond language learning, Chiang Mai is a great place to experience Thai culture and traditions.

Before you decide to move to Chiang Mai, I would like to kindly inform you that unlike major cities such as Bangkok, New Delhi, Tokyo, and more, Chiang Mai is less of a bustling town and more of a quiet, peaceful, and green town. At the same time, you will still have access to all the necessary places that are often found everywhere in major cities. This includes, supermarkets, shopping malls, public parks, restaurants, and cafes, and more. You will also have access to places that are not available in cities such as nature trails, lots of fresh air and space!
