Someone moving to Ruston should know it is a small, college town in north Louisiana. The terrain is mostly hilly with an abundance of pine trees. We have an updated downtown with restaurants and bars. Our local peach orchard supplies the inspiration for our annual Peach Festival, and we support community artist with theater, art crawls, and photography contests.

Ruston is a quaint town in northern Louisiana that is in the heart of Sportsman’s Paradise. This small town is the home of Louisiana Tech University; the school adds a uniqueness to an otherwise conservative, quiet place. This town, although seemingly insignificant, has proven to be fierce in recent years; Ruston has survived a fatal tornado that rocked this typically hushed town. I would go as far as saying that Ruston emerged not only stronger but more vibrant, as well.
