The Colony is a beautiful town in North Dallas area. Many apartments and houses are surrounded by stores, malls and restaurants. I feel safe here and it is relatively quiet. Weather is nice most of the year, with snow being a rarity, and typically gone the next day.

The Colony has a large variety of food places. There is food on absolutely every corner of the town, from mom and pop, to fast food restaurants, even to huge chain restaurants. The people of The Colony are all sorts of different races, ethnicities, and religions, but rather than separating themselves from one another, they unite with their differences. The Colony may not be as well known as Houston, but the town comes together to unite as one. With the town being smaller, you can grow a genuine connection with your neighbors.

The Colony has always been a smaller town until recently, when Grandscape came to town. Grandscape contains Scheels, multiple restaurants, a movie theater, and even an indoor go karting place, called Andretti. Parents take kids to go play games, couples go out to eat, and friends go to concerts. The Colony contains multiple neighborhoods, deluxe apartments, and hotels.
