Baton Rouge is a large city. There is always an event going on to give residents something to do. Football season in this college town is always fun and exciting. There’s an electricity in the air that fuels the soul. As you would expect in the south, there are many restaurants serving the Cajun and old-south traditional dishes one would expect to find in a southern state.

Baton rouge is a slow paced city. Many of the people here related or know each other. There is not a lot of activity for younger people, however there is a lot of history that can be learned by visiting the local museums. For anyone who has an interest in the food industry there is a large variety of restaurants in the city.

Those who relocate to Baton Rouge should be warned of the city’s banality. Having resided in this city for four years, I can assert with confidence that it is an area deprived of culture and inhabited by those seeking college-oriented bars and sub-par restaurants. Had it not been for my residency at LSU, I certainly would not have moved here on my own accord. It is with great solemnity that I notify any future residents of the dangers of moving to a city littered with a surplus of alcohol and a lack of decent Greek restaurants.
