There are many things to do in Orlu like going to the stream, restaurant, market, shopping malls and going shopping, dancing in the town square, fishing in the local river and helping charity organizations. The transportation in Orlu is convenient, reliable, efficient and accessible which enables people to move from one place to another with no potholes or gallop on the roads.

There are different varieties of food that are very delicious. The most popular to eat is Isi ewu and ukwa which in english is called goat meat pepper soup and breadfruit. There are yam festivals which are always held every summer. Big yams are harvested and given to the head of the town to taste before it is distributed to everyone. The weather in Orlu is favourable. In the summer it rains a lot from may until september. The summer is warmer and cools you down a little.

Orlu is located in the eastern part of Nigeria. It is a large place with very large number of people living there. Orlu is a little bit of both traditional and modern because of having several festivals celebrated by the locals, and at the same time a whole lot of high-rise buildings with increasing number of infrastructures and establishments. The people in Orlu are very accommodating and nice, speaking both english and the local dialect. Many people in the town like to farm.

Orlu is modernized and has beautiful architectural buildings everywhere. You won’t find local houses like huts and people from the city now come to build things like banks, hospitals and offices. Orlu is naturally endowed with natural resources and no natural disasters like volcanoes, hurricane or earthquakes take place there. The town has a friendly environment. Everyone is willing to give each other a hand when they need help.

There are landmarks in the town such as churches where people go to worship every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, libraries, big trees where people go to take cover and fresh air under the shades, and a park where people go for recreational activities. The surrounding areas are pleasant there no such things as air pollution, water pollution or erosion. Everywhere is always neat and tidy and because of this the people don’t fall sick easily.
