HELPFUL REPORT

Life in the midwest may not seem as glamorous or fun to some who adore life in coastal or mountain regions. However, you are looking in the right place if you want cheaper places to stay and to escape the fast life of grander cities. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you from enjoying jazz and blues or one of our famous restaurants, Fritz. Plus, if you are an animal lover or enjoy historical sites and museums, you won’t have to pay a penny to enter any museums or zoos while you’re here.

St. Louis is a city rich in history. The city is nearly as old as New Orleans, our southern neighbor downriver. Some say that our state is the most eastern of the western states. Others say that we are southern, with the blues and jazz music from the Mississippi Delta influencing the ragtime born in this city.

Saint Louis is a big city in Missouri and is along the Mississippi River. It is known for the Gateway Arch National Park and is home to many sports fans. The Blues and Cardinals are two of the city’s sports teams. Saint Louis has a wide variety of restaurants and music throughout the city as well.

St. Louis, an overlooked city, is up and coming. People looking in from an outside perspective may not see much, but anyone moving here should know St. Louis has endless options for adventurers and foodies. The best Asian cuisine is on Olive Boulevard. The best burger’s are downtown. The city garners the interest of many musical artists who travel to places such as the Scottrade Center to perform. Free concerts are even available such as during the Fourth of July at Forest Park. Even free movies are a hit with food trucks to assist at Art Hill during summer. Nonetheless, St. Louis has grown and continues to progress as a city. St. Louis isn’t a busted town. It has so much to offer.
