Faridabad is a small but the most populous city of Haryana. It’s not crowded because it’s spread vastly. The best thing about living here is that commuting as well as living, both are cheap. I feel it is a safe city, even for woman. It has good job opportunities as well. You will have no difficulty in living as all the general stores are close by. New Delhi and Gurugram are connected with Faridabad and one can easily commute via metro. A con of living here is that there are not many good places to hang out with friends or for leisure. But don’t worry, Gurugram is a party hub and interestingly there is shortcut if you don’t want to waste travelling almost two hours to reach there.
The city is entitled to the smart city of the Country’s smart city list. From having the best of educational institutions and industries, it is well equipped to provide sufficient jobs. The city has the best of hospitals, with major cardiac institutions providing the best of the medical facilities for the citizen. For entertainment and lifestyle, there are a number of malls and recreational areas.
Faridabad is an industrial city in the Indian state of Haryana. It is the most populous city in the state and that it has been the second most polluted city of India recently. High levels of pollution over here is attributed mainly to the large number of small and medium scale industries operating in the city. Faridabad, being part of the National Capital Region of Delhi, attracts a lot of people from all over the country and these people are commuting daily for jobs in the various industries and companies situated here.
Faridabad is not all about industries though; the city hosts the Surajkund crafts Mela yearly, in which craftsmen from all over India and from some other countries showcase their designs and crafts. It is a very colorful fest and a must attend for anyone moving to the city.
