Denton has the feel of a small town, but in reality is a very large city. It is the top of the “Golden Triangle” of North Texas and is home to two major colleges. UNT is right off the interstate and TWU is about 15 minutes into town. Denton is a wonderful mix of art, music and history!

Denton is a beautiful city with a rich history and culture. You will have the pleasure to interact with people from many countries and cultures due to UNT and TW. Most of you have probably heard of Dr. Phil, but I doubt that you know that he graduated from UNT. Denton is like a Mecca for women empowerment, it is the first university to offer a nursing program in Texas. Although the school months with being bustling with people, it gets surprisingly quiet during summer times.

If someone moves Denton, it is a growing college town with not one, but two universities. One is called the University of Texas, “Home of the Mean Green” and the other is Texas Woman’s University. The city has a rich history of arts and music.
