Charlotte is home to the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte Knights, Charlotte Independence, and it will soon have an MLS team as well. Apart from the sports teams, Charlotte’s diversity is another great thing about it. It is a big city, so you meet people from all corners of the world. The variety of food in Charlotte is stellar. Anything from Southern Comfort, to Asian, to Latin, to European food, it is all here.

Romare Bearden Park has beautiful foliage as well as plenty of benches and walking space for people on skateboards, city scooters, or their own two feet. It also has a field at one end in which dogs, families, couples, and little children can have fun during a nice warm day. Charlotte has multiple events that it hosts for different occasions such as the Fourth of July or St. Patrick’s Day to name a few. Other major attractions in Charlotte that make it unique are the Nascar Hall of Fame bringing in some history to the area and the Charlotte Knights baseball team at the BB&T Ballpark.

Charlotte, North Carolina, is known as the “Queen City.” Uptown Charlotte is beautiful and it is an epicentre for business and banking. If you were moving here, you would have a lot of options. There are urban, rural, and suburban communities here. You can visit the mountains. The beach is only four hours away. Also, there’s an amusement park called “Carowinds” that is really popular to residents of both North and South Carolina.

Charlotte is an ever-growing city. It is relatively new which gives it modern beauty. The queen city (nicknamed because of Queen Charlotte) is also very diverse due to its growth. People from all over the United States move to Charlotte every year. Along with the diversity of the people, Charlotte has a diversity of food to choose from. The city is not too big and not too small. Walking around the city is a nice walk especially at the different parks all over the city.

Charlotte, North Carolina, is known as The Queen City. Charlotte has the football team Panthers and basketball team Hornets. Panther games take place at Bank of America Stadium. The stadium is clean and big. Charlotte Hornets is owned by Michael Jordan, so when you go see their games, Michael Jordan is sitting on the first floor. Charlotte also has the minor baseball team Knights.

Charlotte is a fine city, comprised of a well-manicured uptown and several sprawling boroughs; but it lacks culture. Has largely destroyed its culture in the name of “revitalization” and overpriced housing, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. There are a few stalwart institutions still breathing with the history of the Queen City (Price’s Chicken Coop!); but they remain anachronisms in a city more concerned with newness than its past.
