Allahabad is officially known now as Prayagraj. It is the city if Sangum where three main holy river collide. It is very beautiful and has many historical monuments like various forts, temples, etc. In addition to that is arranges the biggest kumbh in India and people from all over the world come to join it.

I’m going to tell about Prayag raj, Prayagraj is one of the largest cities of the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Although initially named allahabad the name later became Allahabad in an anglicized version in Roman script. In 2018 the city was renamed to its original name Prayagraj by the State government. The city is on an inland peninsula, surrounded by the rivers Ganges and Yamuna on three sides, with only one side connected to the mainland Doab region, of which it is a part. This position is of importance in Hindu scriptures for it is at the confluence, known as Triveni Sangam, of the holy rivers.
