Most of Kiambu’s earnings are from farming, each family has at least an acre of land, own one or two cows and a number of chicken. Children rear rabbits for fun, this gives them experience on farming matters at a young age. In Kiambu, families consume what they plant which helps in reducing the number of lifestyle diseases in the country.

It contains all the important amenities. This includes a level four hospital, a primary school, a secondary school, a technical institute, two supermarkets, and a playground. It is a friendly and serene place for a family to settle.
