Our city is in the Southern part of the Ozark plateau. We have the University of Arkansas, as well as a historic downtown area. There are lots of trees, which means that there are also a lot of allergies. If you came here, I would be careful walking everywhere, just because there’s a lot of hills.

Fayetteville is a college town not far from the home of Walmart. The main slogan is to Keep Fayetteville Funky. It lies in the heart of Northwest Arkansas with an interesting mix of small town feel in a community growing towards a metropolis. Just south of town is the first home of Bill and HIllary Clinton which has been memorialized to the delight of some and the chagrin of others.

Fayetteville is a small university town, so the most valuable information tends to get conveyed through word of mouth. For example, no online guide will tell you that Harps is the best place to shop for groceries or that the post office on Dickson Street offers the best service. Finally, know while life here is affordable and quiet, it can lack options for entertainment. Make sure you know people who you can spend quality time with.

Fayetteville is a beautiful town with a rich history. It is home to the University of Arkansas, and it has a vibrant arts scene. It’s also full of great restaurants and friendly people. Though the pace of life picks up significantly when school is in session, it’s easy to find fun things to do throughout the year, especially for outdoor enthusiasts.
