Someone moving to Mthatha should be expectant of and comfortable living in a rural environment. It is a conservative town, with a predominantly African population. Most people in Mthatha are from the Xhosa tribe. Mthatha dwellers are also largely subsistence farmers and live off off homegrown livestock.

It is a very diverse city, with a clean and friendly environment. There are a lot of black people and whites who are both not racist. It would be a great experience for someone to move to my city as it is also a big city that accommodates a huge number of people.

Mthatha is a quaint place in the Eastern Cape province, the land of the amaXhosa tribe and home of the father of our nation Mr. Nelson Mandela among other freedom fighters. It is considered as the countryside, anyone looking to escape the city life would much rather prefer being in my hometown.
