Some sites are Mt. Rubidoux and the Mission Inn. Mt. Rubidoux is a small mountain that many people hike on. The Mission Inn is a hotel with several beautiful architecture styles that has been visited by several U.S. presidents, social leaders, and stars. Every year in December, the Mission Inn hosts a Festival of Lights in which there are many beautiful Christmas lights decorating the hotel and many food vendors around.
You. Need. A. Car. Riverside, like most Southern California cities has terrible public transportation. Once you have a car, head to downtown Riverside and check out the Mission Inn. If it’s near Christmas, go again. It’ll be adorned with limitless Christmas decorations and it’s a sight to be seen.
