Close to major highways. Lots of police traps. Always been that way. Major box stores. About 55 miles to the beach. A lot of stores close after 5. Couple museums in town. Next town is Centralia with a train depot. Chehalis has a small airfield and golf course. Lots of flat land for bicycling.
Chehalis is located halfway between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. It’s starting to slowly develop and get more expensive. It used to be cheaper than most western WA towns. It’s quiet with a population of about 7,000. It’s a conservative island in western WA. It’s still a nice place to live though!
