Sequim has a majority of retired citizens. many box stores were built in Sequim rather than Port Angeles, providing decent shopping options. There are some drug problems, but for the most part, Sequim is a safe and comfortable place. Best of all, Sequim is nestled between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
