As a part of the seven sisters cities, Suffolk is close to just about any and everything. The seven sister cities, also known as the 757 area, include the following cities: Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Hampton. An honorable mention is Norfolk as it holds the world’s largest naval base. Although Suffolk may not be as popular, each Suffolk resident is supportive of their city and its inhabitants.

Suffolk, Virginia, is located in the 757 area of Virginia. When someone thinks of Virginia, Richmond or Virginia Beach usually come to mind and not Suffolk. There are plenty of different sides to Suffolk however. In downtown Suffolk, you can find an array of people. Downtown Suffolk is sometimes called old Suffolk due to the fact that it resembles an older time full of older looking buildings and less technologically advanced sights. In Northern Suffolk, you can find just about anything within a three-mile radius.
