Sheffield is a multicultural city. There are two popular and reputable universities, and a plethora of colleges and schools. It has a large city centre with many and varied retail establishments and restaurants and several theatres. There is a good public transport system, including both rail, tram and buses.

Sheffield is a large city in the North of England, approximately an hour east of Manchester and half an hour south of Leeds. It has excellent transport links both within the city and for travel around the country. Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in the UK, with many parks within its boundaries. The city is also on the edge of the beautiful Peak District, featuring such lovely villages as Bakewell and Castleton, and the historically beautiful Chatsworth House.

Sheffield is a wonderful city combining a mixture of leafy, outdoor areas and many examples of the industrial history that has enriched it. Whether it is a day out, walking in the Peak District ending in a pub lunch or spending the day pacing the streets of the city centre, fulfilling shopping needs and resting in a chic cocktail bar after, Sheffield has it all. Public transport is plentiful, should you wish to try and be as green as a large amount of our residents but there is also ample parking.
