Waco feels like a town that possesses elements of a large city. Many tourists come with the misconception that Waco is comparable in size to larger cities such as Dallas. It is also important to know if you enjoy a robust nightlife scene, you may not enjoy living in Waco long-term. Lastly, I would venture to say that Waco is a great place to raise a family and experience a relaxed pace of life where you can enjoy personal relationships with others in the community.

Someone moving to Waco should know about its historic value. Waco has many a famous histories; including, the Dr. Pepper museum, and Magnolia Market. there is also Baylor University which actually became a college in the Republic of Texas in 1845. This makes Baylor the first oldest college in the state of Texas.

The Silos aren’t all they are made up to be. It is very crowded and boring. There are plenty of things to see and experience here that aren’t tourist traps. People can kayak or paddle board down the rivers here. There are a ton of museums. and Lake Waco.
