San Jose Del Monte is considered as the first city of Bulacan and making it the largest local government unit within the said province. In terms of Tourism, Mount Balagbag and Kaytitinga Falls in Barangay, San Isidro are the main tourist attractions in the city. A portion of the Angat Watershed Forest Reserve also extends to San Jose del Monte.
