Silver Spring is a bright and inviting city. With colorful murals and a large variety of shops and restaurants, the city is the perfect place for young couples, families, and singles. Silver Spring has an excellent and diverse school system, with programs that will provide for your child’s unique needs. There is a wide selection of activities and outings to be had, with restaurants and shops that represent all cultures and people who are warm and friendly. Silver Spring it very much a community, one that helps it’s neighbors and provides a sense of belonging to all.

HELPFUL REPORT

Downtown Silver Spring has a very nice pedestrian mall, with a fountain that children can play in during hot summer days. There is also a major transit hub in Silver Spring, which includes the metro train, the MARC train, buses for both county and DC routes, and coming soon, there’ll be a light rail train as well. This makes it very easy to live in a city with all the amenities, while also being able to get to other cities without driving.
