Capital of Morocco, known to be boring but if you like green and clean cities where you can still live and work then it’s the place to be. My favorite place is the Kasbah des Oudayas, you can roam around the gardens where cats chill all day and sip some hot mint tea in the Cafe Maure with a picturesque view of the Oued Bouregreg, separating the cities of Rabat and Sale.

Rabat the administrative capital is a prodigious destination and can arguably be called the most ‘chill’ city in Morocco. Rabat is where you can find lovely, quality handicrafts without the hassle of vendors continually pushing you to buy from their shops. Rabat has plenty of historical monuments. known by its awesome beaches.

Rabat is a pleasant surprise and worthy of a visit. The major sights can easily be covered in a day but that won’t allow time to sit in coffee shops, to wander through the medina or along by the river or to enjoy a restaurant or two in the evenings.
