Jerusalem holds historic and religious significance for members all three Abrahamic faiths. It is modern city with old sensibilities, which can especially be found within the walled off Old City. The different communities within the city rarely interact with one another, living in cordoned off parts of the city, and only intersecting on buses and I’m Hospitals.
In Jerusalem, one can find people from all across the religious spectrum, each searching for connection to spirituality. There are tens of schools in Jerusalem for students from abroad, each geared to a niche crowd. With stunning panoramic views of the mountains and city, it is one of the most beautiful cities.
Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is famous for its beauty, its historical significance, its being the home for three of the major religions (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity), and its cultural diversity. However, it is unfortunately involved in a long-standing conflict with Palestine.
Someone who is willing to move to Jerusalem, should know the living costs are high, and there are many religious (Jewish) people here. The streets are pretty clean, and the taxes are high. traffic jams are common. It’s also really hot in summer, and the temperature’s not below 15° Celsius in winters.
