It is famous for “kulambo” or mosquito net production and trading. It is also well-known for “tamales” that are wrapped in banana leaves. One of the main sources of income here is hog raising. The temperature is moderate in rainy and dry seasons. People are friendly, traditional, and religious.

we are very hospitable. We are very proud of our own “tamales” and “kulambo” which is very popular also in other cities. We also have an eco-friendly city and we celebrate town fiestas every May. We also have our Vatican-inspired church that people from other places wanted.
