While quality of life is something of an elusive or ill-defined concept, it can be boiled down to "Is Zamboanga City a good place to live?" or "Is Zamboanga City a bad place to live?" Here's what six local experts had to say about quality of life and overall happiness in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Zamboanga is a huge and rich city. Although it is situated on the southern part of the Philippine archipelago, Zamboanga is a good place to live, with people who are very hospitable, and abundant culture. If you like seafood, fresh vegetables, green surroundings, Zamboanga is a place to stay. For me, Zamboanga is a good mix of rural and urban areas, you have a mountain within a city, isn’t that fascinating?

Zamboanga City is dubbed as the “Asia’s Latin City”, you’ll see a Spanish influence in this city, than in the rest of the country. Our people are very proud of our cultural roots and heritage. Zamboanga may not seem to be a safer place to travel for foreigners, but as a resident of this city, it is a great place.

Our city is a very good and nice city. It is a city with friendly and hospitable people were you can make a lot of friends. We have a lot of tourist destination. And there are a lot of good foods to eat. feel free to move to our city and enjoy living here.

The weather in Zamboanga is unpredictable so to be safe always bring an umbrella with you. When commuting, it is important to know the fare price to your destination first before agreeing with the tricycle driver to avoid of being scammed. If you’re going to spend the night out, it is highly recommended to visit the bars and stalls at Pasonanca.

Learn the language first before moving in. Look for the availability of jobs for you and a good place for you and your family. Our city can be chaotic sometimes so be sure of your safety before deciding to transfer. We have delicious foods available only in our city that tastes like heaven. find some friends around your vicinity to build socials.

When going into the capital, beware of lifters. Without you knowing, your pocket already has nothing to serve because your wallet was taken away. Our city might have negativities, but we can offer the utmost possible joy and happiness to you. Aside from that, we are green lover, which means we preserve our nature.
