While quality of life is something of an elusive or ill-defined concept, it can be boiled down to "Is Stuart a good place to live?" or "Is Stuart a bad place to live?" Here's what one local expert had to say about quality of life and overall happiness in Stuart, Florida.

Stuart is a city in Martin County on the eastern coast of Florida, about two hours north of Miami. The climate is tropical, which includes hurricane danger, heavy tropical rains and high temperatures and humidity during summer. I am happy I traded in the Nor’Easters and endless winter in Vermont for the endless summer in southern Florida. Stuart is unique in this area because it does not allow tall building.
