Pickering is a wonderful place. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a nice beach that you can go to and hang out. The people are very friendly when you are out for a walk or jog. There are many restaurants that you can go and try different cuisines. It’s a great place.

it would be best to buy a car because important locations are not within walking distance of each other. For example, house complexes and supermarkets are far from each other so bringing groceries home on foot would be difficult. The public transport is not bad but infrequent and sometimes crowded so it would not be comfortable to try to bring all your grocery bags into the crowded buses, especially after waiting an hour for one!
