If someone was to move to my city, knowledge regarding the use of public transport is important. Moreover, that my City is very under developed in a developing country. In addition, the healthcare system is horrible compared to other cities. Altogether, Mafikeng is a City in a very poor state.
Mafikeng is a small city, making it easier for people to know one another. However if one enjoys the corporate world, Mafikeng is suitable as it is known as an administrative city. There is not much to do for fun besides game rides in the nature reserve, clubbing, dining and shopping.
It is a small city with very friendly people. The population is mostly people between the ages of 33 – 65. The weather is fairly balanced with cool summers and warm winters, could be the reason why the spirit of Ubuntu is still alive and well. There is not that much to do as opposed to bigger cities, but there is strong heritage and culture that one can benefit from.
My city is surrounded by villages. The life is slow but relaxing and rewarding. It is a cultural town with traditional history. The food cuisine is interesting and fun if you don’t mind learning and trying new things. We have game reserves surrounding us. The people are great and love everyone.
Mafikeng is a place of peace, communities live like relatives. It is easy to make friends as almost every child in a community attends the same school. There is a few malls and shopping centres that you can do your shopping at. Most of the learners from our communities got awards for best students in the national awards.
Mafikeng is a small city in North West. It is a great place to relax, retire or build a family. It is a quiet place with not much to do but much to see. Mafikeng is known for its luxurious hotel Mmabatho Palms and the hometown of one of South Africa’s well known musicians Cassper Nyovest. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly and relaxing place to retire to, Mafikeng is the place for you.
It’s a city goodwill, the capital of North West Province – normally called the Platinum City because of the Platinum mines in Rustenburg. It pride itself with historical attractions. The book “Place among the stone” was named after this city for it recognized for its huge stones which were used for hiding by soldiers during the second world war.
