Treat Montana like an island: if you don’t bring it with you, assume it isn’t there. Local businesses can’t pay a living wage and with the current people influx it’s going to take 10+ years for the economy to stabilize and build the needed infrastructure.

Kalispell is a small town, reliant on tourism and breweries. It is close to Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. Love of the outdoors is a must when living in Montana, especially in the Flathead Valley. Winters here can be very long, cold, and snowy, with temperatures often dipping below 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
