Delaware, while an increasingly popular town for young, millennial families, has a much more competitive and expensive housing market than many of the surrounding communities. It is a town that seems to attract the very people who cannot afford to live in it. jobs that pay well enough to afford a home in Delaware, are rarely found in Delaware itself. Most residents, as a result, find it necessary to commute to Columbus for work.

Delaware (a town, not the state) has a lively downtown scene. It is a tight-knit community in which people are friendly and treat each other with common courtesy. A wonderful place if starting a family or going to college. It is within a good proximity from other larger cities making it ideal for residence as you can always find something to do within and around the city.

Delaware, Ohio, is a wonderful community in Central Ohio. It is about a half hour north of Columbus and within a short drive to everything you could want from shopping to dining. It has a cute downtown that is walkable and a vibrant university community integrated into the town. The best neighborhood to live in is the Northwest Neighborhood. It has a blend of new and old historic homes and a variety of people in the area. It is the perfect location in Ohio because you can drive in any direction and reach the border within three hours and there are so many day-trip excursions to visit within the state. It certainly is the best town in the area.
