Baytown, Texas, is part of the greater Houston area and resides on the Houston ship channel. It is home to ExxonMobil and houses other oil manufacturing plants and Lee College, which is nationally known for its superb honors program. Citizens of Baytown are largely part of Harris County, the largest county in Texas, though Baytown’s famous Cedar Bayou serves as the dividing line that separates some of its citizens into Eastern Chambers County.

People moving to Baytown should know there is plenty of things to do. The city has some good school districts for the kids and where I live specifically, the neighborhood is very safe. Baytown offers a lot of city attractions and necessary stores. There is also opportunities for extracurricular activities like fishing, hunting, etc. There are plenty of take out places and retail therapy stores. I would recommend Baytown as a place to settle.
