Oakland isn’t the city most people think it is. Located just across the Bay from San Francisco, Oakland’s a bit like a chameleon. While mostly known for its crime, Oakland has many positive attributes: Its great weather, award-winning restaurants, historic provenance, and diverse residents make it a great alternative to pricey San Francisco.

Anyone moving to Oakland, CA, should know it is a very beautiful and diverse city. The City of Oakland is just minutes from the City of San Francisco. Perfect for those who would like to visit the big city once in awhile. The weather is always pleasant, it’s a very diverse and multicultural city. Great schools, museums, lakes, restaurants and parks. You will absolutely love it.

Oakland is not as crime-ridden as many tourists would be led to believe. Rather, Oakland is a beautiful and diverse city with wonderful culture and delicious cuisines from all over the world. Many parts of Oakland are not shown in the mainstream media and this oversight has shamed the culture of this beautiful and vibrant city.
