Irvine, California, is the safest city in America. Normally, there is heavy traffic through the streets. And on the weekends the average drive times to the beach is about 20 minutes.
Irvine, California, is widely accepted as being one of the safest cities to live in the United States. Irvine is centrally located and you can easily travel to the mountains to go snowboarding, the beach to try your hand at surfing, or to the desert to enjoy some dirt biking. The city is home to a wide variety of cultures, where you can try any food you can imagine.
The weather in Irvine is absolutely gorgeous every single day, and there are endless ways to enjoy the outdoors. From the sandy, blue watered beaches to the rugged hiking trails in the mountains, I highly suggest that anyone moving here should expect the best natural environment for recreation and exercise.
Irvine is a master planned city in Orange County. This means that by virtue of its specific location, many consider it a suburban type of environment. Thus, suburban type environments tend to be quite, private, and more secure than living in a metropolitan city. Further, if one moves to Irvine from a metropolitan city, it may be difficult to adjust to how quiet and almost desolate it could feel. However, Irvine is only ten minutes from the beach which would be enticing for some who want to live closer to the shore.
