Freeport is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever lived in. It is located on an dreamy island surrounded by beaches overlooking the most amazing turquoise water. When moving here be prepared for the warm weather, it gets very hot during summer and this heat and water bodies provide a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. Sand flies, which are tiny little flying insects found in the bushes close to the beaches are also a nuisance, one is left with itchy red bumps after they bite you. However, despite these small annoyances, there are lots of water sports to participate in and an active night life when you want to explore the town by night. It is also very safe and welcoming, locals are very friendly and will make you feel right at home.

You’ll live where people vacation. In this city, you’ll get to enjoy the sandy, but beautiful beaches, and the warm sun. Our food is to die for! You must try Conch Salad, Conch Chowder, and Conch Fritters; it’s delicious! Also, you’ll get to experience the fun in staying in several, modern resorts. You’ll love it here!

Freeport is beautiful. It is filled with friendly people. There are many sites to see, including Port Lucaya, Zorbas Cuisine and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The food is wonderful here. There are various foods you can try such as: conch fritters, conch salad, crab and dough, lobster, cracked conch and fish fingers. Our people are very friendly, and will help you however they can. It is so much fun! There are beautiful beaches and sunsets.
