Bangor Is a student town, on the North Welsh coast. It attracts a large variety of people, each of whom have their own reasons for being here. For example, students rate the city as one of the best in the United Kingdom. For the general population, Bangor has many advantages over other local cities, as there are various shops in the city centre while you will not find in many of the other local villages. However, being a student town also attracts some people whom you wouldn’t necessarily want to meet.

Bangor is a small city. It has a population of around 15,000, although its University attracts around 7,000 students during its term. It is next to the sea and has a long pier which stretches out into the nearby Menai straits. It is a pleasant city with low crime rate and decent amenities.
