Someone considering moving to Lima, Peru should know about the unusual weather conditions, as they can change quite rapidly. One should always carry a light jacket. Moreover, they should know about the crime rates in Lima. There are some areas of the city that are much more dangerous than others.

It is amazing that you are moving to Lima, however there are some things you should consider before. Lima is a city with high humidity either in summer or winter, so it is important that you have clothes ready in case the weather changes. Also if you are not used to noise it is important that you bring earmuffs to help you sleep and finally you will find quite a few people walking down the street so you should take care of your belongings.

Our winter is from July to September and summer is from October to February. The food is absolutely delightful and the people are very friendly and eager to help. Clothing is made from fabric found in our country and easy to acquire. Traffic is terrible but getting around is easy.
