Uyo is a the capital of Akwa Ibom state, one of the south south states in Nigeria. Uyo is a very peaceful city. It has clear road networks where buses, tricycles ply almost effortlessly. The major language spoken in Uyo is the Ibibio language. However, the annang and oro languages are spoken too.

Uyo’s cost of living is an extremely important factor when choosing a city to call home. The cost of living include everything from real estate prices and transportation to the average cost of groceries and dining out. The higher the cost of living, the more money you’re going to need to earn to live comfortably in your new city.
