Acworth, Georgia, is a city on its own and part of Cobb County. It is a dense suburban area about 27 miles North of Atlanta. Acworth has much diversity because there are many people from all parts of the United States and other countries. Acworth is close to a large state university, which attracts students from all over the state and faculty from all around the world. Acworth Beach is a man-made beach. It is a popular place for seniors to go for an annual “day at the beach”. “Taste of Acworth” is an annual event where local restaurants and food trucks showcase their specialties.

Acworth is a family suburb with lots of parks, trails, and festivals for all to enjoy. The suburb is located close to the city of Atlanta which makes commuting for work in the city a great option to living in the city. People in Acworth are warm and have great Southern hospitality.

If you’re moving to Acworth, or any city around Atlanta, know traffic is horrendous! Morning rush hour starts around 5:30 a.m. and might let up around nine a.m. In the afternoon, traffic starts backing up around three p.m. and doesn’t let up until seven p.m.
